As the year 2026 began, we held our first company-wide event of the year, a New Year party, on January 7th. While in previous years we had held a year-end party to close out the year, this year we arranged the event as a New Year party to open the new year together.
Following the founding anniversary event on January 2nd, CloudNetworks members gathered together again for the new year, coming together across teams and ranks to enjoy a fun time and share the energy of starting 2026 together.
🎮Colorful Recreation Opening the New Year Party
The New Year party was held in the Oak & Premier Room on the 5th floor of the Oakwood Hotel. As employees gathered one by one, the event opened with recreational activities. Following the 2024 Taiwan workshop and year-end party, MC Hwi once again took charge of hosting this year, leading the atmosphere with his characteristic energy.
The recreation, conducted with members of various teams and ranks seated together at round tables, was structured around a team-based medal collection format. Using an open chat room, participants posted various mission verification photos — including finger-shaped photos, photos with car keys and earphones, and photos including coins — naturally sparking conversation.
The following "Beat MC Hwi" game brought continuous laughter with unique movements accompanying the "Dibidibidip" chant, while the eye-contact game (Nunchi Game), in which the eldest members of each team participated, created tense moments on stage. There was also a sensory game where participants grabbed a stack of bills at once and tried to match a given amount, as well as a balance game of not dropping a paper cup placed on the back of the hand.
In games such as rock-paper-scissors, a movie-initial-consonant quiz, and a game of guessing and singing a song title after hearing only the opening, some participants showed off passionate singing performances. In a game of arranging snacks or cars in order from oldest to newest, a cross-generational battle of knowledge unfolded. Through these various games, each team gradually collected gold medals, naturally enjoying time together.
🏆2025 H2 Outstanding Employee & Team Awards
Following the recreation, the 2025 second-half outstanding talent awards were presented. As in the first half, the Employee of the Year and Outstanding Employees were selected by a vote of all employees.
The Employee of the Year for the second half of 2025 was Assistant Manager Jung of the Management Innovation Team. His passionate performance of his role as a general affairs officer since joining the company, and his contribution to organizational operations, were highly evaluated. The Outstanding Employees selected were Team Leader Im of IT Infrastructure Technology Team 2 and Manager Hyun of the Sales Planning Team. The Executive Director presented the awards, and the Employee of the Year received 3 days of reward leave and a cash prize of 2 million won, while the Outstanding Employees each received 2 days of reward leave and a cash prize of 1 million won.
Next was the Best Team award, introduced for the first time this year. IT Infrastructure Technology Team 1 received the honor. The team earned sincere applause from employees for expanding the scope of solution support, actively accommodating and supporting requests from other departments, and, due to the nature of their work, taking on additional work regardless of weekends and holidays. The CEO presented the award, and all team members received 2 days of reward leave and a cash prize of 500,000 won each.
At the end of the awards ceremony, an unplanned surprise award was given. A "Hidden Hero" award was announced for a team that had quietly carried out its role behind the scenes, and the CEO presented the award to the Marketing Team.
🎁Lucky Draw and Dinner, Which Everyone Was Waiting For
The most highly anticipated and well-received part of the New Year party was, without question, the lucky draw. This year, the prize lineup was prepared to be especially generous. A wide variety of prizes were prepared, including hotel accommodation vouchers, 3-day vacation vouchers, headphones, earphones, Korean beef, Korean pork, department store gift certificates, and massage devices.
Cheers erupted throughout the banquet hall each time a drawing took place. Winners went up on stage with bright smiles to receive their prizes and take commemorative photos. This year, gift certificates were also given to members who did not win the lucky draw, so that everyone could share in the benefits.
After the lucky draw, a buffet dinner was held. At the buffet, which featured a variety of menu items, employees enjoyed a relaxed meal while chatting with one another. After the event, the group moved to a different location for a second round. Freely attended in a fully rented-out space, the second round continued in a joyful atmosphere until midnight.
🐎2026, A Year We Will Build Together
This year's New Year party was not just a change in format, but an occasion to reset our attitude toward the year ahead. Laughing together, celebrating each other's achievements, and spending time in the same space on this day naturally confirmed that all members are looking in the same direction.
Although each person works in their own role and position, the shared sense that we are an organization built together became an important starting point heading into 2026. We hope that the energy of this day will continue to carry through into our work going forward.
