On May 28, 2026, SECaaS Summit 2026 was held at The Westin Josun Seoul Gangnam, in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Hosted by Electronic Times Internet and GTT KOREA, this event presented a direction for transforming security beyond a defensive measure into a driver of business growth in the age of AI threats.

The theme of this event was "Beyond Defense: Driving Growth in the Age of AI Threats."
As generative AI and AI agents rapidly spread across enterprise operations as a whole, cyberattacks are also evolving into intelligent and automated stages. Attackers are using AI to automate vulnerability discovery, phishing message generation, malware creation, account takeover, and even API attacks, and enterprises are being placed in an environment where they must secure service continuity, data reliability, and operational stability simultaneously, beyond simple breach response.
In particular, as multi-cloud, AI applications, Non-Human Identity, and supply chain connectivity structures expand, security is no longer an area for cost reduction but is establishing itself as a core strategic element that determines business continuity and growth competitiveness.
Amid this trend, SECaaS Summit 2026 covered security-as-a-service strategies across data, applications, and infrastructure as a whole, centered on three tracks: Trusted AI Data, Secure AI Applications, and Resilient AI Infrastructure.
☑️ The HashiCorp Booth Run Together by CloudNetworks and Kolon Benit
As an official HashiCorp partner, CloudNetworks operated the HashiCorp booth together with Kolon Benit at this event.
At the booth, an introductory video of HashiCorp solutions was played continuously so that visitors could grasp the product's core value at a glance. CloudNetworks employees in charge of HashiCorp sales and technology were stationed at the booth and conducted direct product consultations with visitors. It was a place where questions ranging from the adoption review stage to technical content could be discussed on the spot.
Visitors who downloaded the HashiCorp introductory materials via QR code or participated in the survey were given a keycap keyring as a gift. Throughout the event, security personnel from various companies visited the booth and showed interest in HashiCorp solutions.
☑️ Automating Non-Human Identity Security Based on Vault in the Age of AI Workloads
The session that drew particular attention at this event was the keynote by Yang Seong-tae, Director at IBM Korea. The topic was "Automating Non-Human Identity Security Based on Vault in the Age of AI Workloads."
The session started from the awareness that, as AI agents and automated workloads come to lead enterprise environments, identity management focused solely on "people," which has been the focus of existing security systems, is no longer sufficient. Non-human subjects such as AI/ML pipelines, automation bots, and service accounts—that is, Non-Human Identities—are increasing explosively, and how to control their identities and permissions is emerging as a new core challenge for security.
The session specifically introduced runtime security automation strategies using HashiCorp Vault. It covered ways to issue permissions only when needed without fixed credentials through Dynamic Secrets, and to realize the principle of Least Privilege by preventing misuse of AI agents through policy-based access control and real-time audit functions.
The content covered in the session is also connected to the direction that CloudNetworks is implementing together with its customers in actual environments. As AI workloads increase, the need for Non-Human Identity management and secret automation systems is expected to grow even further.
