Securing 'Identity Security' Capabilities... Advancing Zero Trust Framework to Counter Security Threats in the AI Era

CloudNetworks (CEO Jeong Heung-gyun) announced that it has signed a strategic partnership with Okta, a global leader in Identity and Access Management (IAM). This collaboration was pursued to fundamentally strengthen the level of protection for enterprise infrastructure and customer data in response to the recently surging identity (ID)-based attacks and the expanding security threats brought about by the proliferation of generative AI.
Okta is a leading global IAM platform company with approximately 19,000 customers worldwide. It provides end-to-end ID security functions such as single sign-on (SSO), adaptive MFA, PAM, and ID governance, with strengths in flexible integrated management capabilities spanning both cloud and on-premises environments, as well as integration with a wide range of applications.
Through this partnership, CloudNetworks plans to offer domestic customers 'Okta,' which supports authentication and access management across an entire organization, and the 'Auth0' platform, which provides customer authentication and privilege management for applications and web services. Through this, authentication, privilege control, governance, and access management can be implemented on a single platform, encompassing not only people (employees, partners, customers) but also non-human IDs such as applications, machines, and AI agents.
In addition, CloudNetworks combines QueryPie, HashiCorp, and Splunk with Okta to provide an integrated architecture that organically connects the entire security process, including ID management and authentication, access control, data protection, and log analysis and visualization. Through this, the company plans to further strengthen its own differentiated Zero Trust security framework.
Hwang Gyu-eon, Head of Okta Korea, stated, "We are very pleased to partner with CloudNetworks to introduce Okta's IAM solutions, already proven with customers at home and abroad, to the Korean market," adding, "Through this partnership, companies will be able to more effectively protect their core assets from increasingly sophisticated security threats, and we especially expect that, building on CloudNetworks' extensive business experience, even more valuable services can be provided to domestic customers."
CloudNetworks CEO Jeong Heung-gyun said, "ID is now established as more than just a simple login method — it has become the starting point and key entry point of security toward enterprise infrastructure and customer data," adding, "Through the partnership with Okta, we will add world-class ID security capabilities to our portfolio to build an even stronger integrated security environment, and support customers so they can focus on their core business without worrying about security threats."
