| 'Okta Secures AI'... A Single Framework Encompassing Both Human and Non-Human Identities
| Expanding Business Beyond Authentication and Authorization to AI Workload Protection
CloudNetworks, a domestic IT infrastructure specialist company, has put identity-centered security strategy front and center in line with the age of artificial intelligence. At the site of AIS 2025, Korea's largest artificial intelligence security conference, the company introduced an integrated identity security platform and application strategy encompassing both human and Non-Human Identity (NHI), based on its new partnership with the global identity security company Okta.

CloudNetworks (CEO Jeong Heung-gyun) stated that since its founding in 2012, it has designed enterprise IT infrastructure environments and provided technical support centered on cloud, network, security, and big data. The company explained that it has experience carrying out various projects centered on regulated industries such as finance, manufacturing, and public sector, and that it has recently been expanding global partner collaboration to respond to growing cloud and AI security demand. It also presented the combination of ID security and AI security capabilities to support transformation as a core direction, stating that it would broadly support enterprise customers' transformation of their security, cloud, and AI environments based on its accumulated implementation experience and market responsiveness.
■ 'Okta Secures AI' Unveiled at AIS 2025... A Single Framework Encompassing Both Human and Non-Human Identities
At its AIS 2025 booth, CloudNetworks unveiled an identity security platform based on the 'Secures AI' strategy of Okta, with which it newly signed a partnership this year. This platform is designed to manage diverse identities — users, service accounts, machine IDs, AI agents, and more — within a single framework. The company emphasized, "As AI adoption progresses rapidly, connections between apps and agents are becoming more complex, and concerns over privilege misuse are growing," adding, "This platform is focused on controlling these structural risks in an identity-centered manner."

The core functions of Okta Secures AI are as follows.
· AI Agent Lifecycle Management: Secured governance by applying consistent policies from creation and registration through privilege configuration and behavior monitoring.
· Policy-Based Real-Time Connection Control: Controls "Cross App Access" between apps and agents to proactively block unauthorized connections.
· Enhanced Credential Security: Equipped with Auth0 Token Vault, which securely stores and renews OAuth-based tokens, lowering the risk of token theft.
· Granular Privilege Control: Minimizes the scope of data access through Fine-Grained Authorization (FGA) to prevent excessive privilege grants.
· Broad Extensibility: Equipped with universal extensibility for application across diverse environments including cloud, on-premises, SaaS, and API.
CloudNetworks emphasized that, through Okta's integrated authentication, authorization, and governance structure, it is possible to identify and control not only existing user identities but also non-human identities linked with AI. The company stated, "As workflows involving AI increase, access paths and privilege management become the key control points," adding, "Identity-based policy can standardize the security framework of AI environments."
■ "Beyond Authentication and Authorization to AI Workload Protection"... 2025 Business Strategy
As its 2025 business strategy, CloudNetworks announced that it will center its partnership with Okta and expand an integrated identity security framework encompassing all human and non-human identities within organizations. The company proposes to customers an operational framework that goes beyond the traditional focus on "authentication and authorization" to include AI workload protection, Fine-Grained Authorization (FGA), and behavior monitoring. Through this, the company plans to support enterprises in adopting and operating AI in a safer and more controllable manner.
CloudNetworks also stated that, based on Okta's 'Secures AI' strategy, it will roll out projects that formalize the entire process of AI agent registration, approval, use, and decommissioning, standardize connection policies between apps and agents, and strengthen OAuth token management. The company explained, "As AI is increasingly deployed in actual work within enterprise organizations, integrated governance across the three axes of identity, privilege, and behavior becomes necessary," adding, "Together with Okta, we will continue to link this governance model across our business as a whole."
This strategy carries particular significance for large-scale organizations with rapid AI adoption. This is because handling heterogeneous identities — users, services, machines, AI agents, and more — under a single policy language makes it possible to simplify the control model even as access paths and privileges rapidly proliferate. In addition, controlling connections between apps and agents through "real-time policy" and separately storing credentials in a token vault can reduce risks such as session hijacking and token abuse, which become more frequent as AI-based automation becomes more active. CloudNetworks stated that, based on this structure, it will support the implementation of audit traceability and least privilege required to meet the requirements of regulated industry customers.
