In the first half of 2025, CloudNetworks carried out various activities for stronger connections and growth. We would like to briefly introduce the meaningful moments that took place both inside and outside the organisation during the first half of the year, including internal culture programmes, external exchanges, work capacity enhancement, and partner events.
🤝Organisational Culture Programmes
CloudNetworks' representative organisational culture programmes have also been relaunched in 2025.
Diagonal Slice Meeting
The Diagonal Slice Meeting is CloudNetworks' flagship programme for establishing a culture of communication. It is an internal system where members from different departments and job levels are randomly assigned to teams to have dinner together and engage in free conversation. Designed to allow members to share their thoughts without regard to hierarchy or job title, it also helps to form new relationships between members who may not have much contact in their daily work. Held regularly, these meetings contribute to creating a healthy organisational culture based on trust and mutual understanding among employees.
Junior Board Regular Meetings
Established in 2022, the Junior Board is an internal meeting body where general employees, excluding seniors and managers, discuss organisational operations and culture from a practical perspective. Officers are selected through an annual open recruitment process within the company, and members from various job roles form a team to hold regular meetings once a month. This year, a chairperson and secretary were elected, and the programme has been running smoothly in the first half of the year. It serves as a practical channel for reflecting the voices of employees in organisational operations and is establishing itself as an organisational culture programme based on autonomy and responsibility.
👨🎓External Education and Talent Exchange
CloudNetworks is connecting with future talent through various exchange activities.
Company Tour
In May, students from Gwangju Software Meister High School visited CloudNetworks for a company tour programme. A member who graduated from the same school and joined the Cloud Platform Technology Team this year participated in the tour and spent a meaningful time with the students. Students and teachers gained an indirect experience of the practical IT industry environment through company introductions, job descriptions, presentations by current employees, and pre-scheduled Q&A sessions. The programme concluded in a warm atmosphere with the distribution of brand souvenirs.
Participation in Job Fairs
As part of our efforts to secure top talent, we participated in the Advanced Industry Excellence Campus Recruitment and KB Good Job Excellent Company Job Fair in the first half of the year. Through our recruitment booth, we introduced the company's vision, benefits, and hiring process, and had the opportunity to communicate directly with applicants from various fields and share our organisational vision.
🏢Improvement of internal environment and welfare
We continued to make improvements to create a more comfortable and satisfying work environment for our employees.
Improvement of brand-centric space
In the first half of 2025, we improved the environment to enhance employee satisfaction and brand identity. In March of this year, CloudNetworks underwent its first-ever complete CI renewal and carried out a rebranding project that reflected this throughout the office space. The entrance hallway, front wall, and display installations were redesigned, and a space was created to display certifications and trophies to visually convey the company's trustworthiness and achievements. The design elements that reflect the brand identity leave a positive first impression on both employees and visitors, and play a role in enhancing the consistency of the brand experience.
Improved welfare
A shared styler and food waste disposal unit were introduced in the break room to further enhance the convenience and welfare of employees. These changes were made to reduce minor but everyday inconveniences and create a comfortable environment that allows employees to focus more on their work. Additionally, a request board was installed in the break room refrigerator, allowing employees to freely leave requests for supplies or improvements, which are regularly reviewed and implemented. These efforts are helping to increase employee satisfaction and foster a culture of autonomous participation.
📚Enhancing Work Capabilities
We also ran various programmes to help employees grow by developing both leadership and practical expertise.
Team Leader Workshop
CloudNetworks held a team leader workshop in the first half of the year, bringing together leaders from across the organisation to strengthen their strategic thinking and leadership skills. During the workshop, each department and team shared their operational status for the first half of the year and their plans for the second half, and discussed human resource management and business direction.
This was followed by a Mission, Vision, and Core Values (M/V/C) establishment session, where each team specified the company's mission and vision based on prior discussions, and presented and exchanged opinions focusing on customer value, corporate strengths, and future competitiveness in groups. After the workshop, the leaders enjoyed dinner and free networking, which was a meaningful opportunity to strengthen their bonds.
2025 Promotion Training
In May, a leadership training programme was conducted for those promoted from the second quarter of last year to the second quarter of this year. This training was designed to help prospective managers understand their roles within the organisation and strengthen their essential leadership skills through a total of eight hours of lectures, practical exercises, and discussions. It was a productive time filled with serious learning and enjoyable exchanges in a lively atmosphere.
Certification and Qualification Acquisition
In the first half of 2025, we strengthened our practical capabilities by obtaining certifications from global vendors such as Splunk, Red Hat, and Dell in various areas including security, infrastructure, and systems, with a focus on technical positions. Additionally, the Infrastructure Technology Team upgraded its technical grade to the highest level with the Information and Communications Construction Association and successfully renewed its ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification to maintain internal quality control standards. These achievements significantly contribute to enhancing both individual expertise and organisational trustworthiness.
🌏Partner Events
During the first half of the year, CloudNetworks actively participated in webinars, briefings, and tech seminars hosted by major partners such as Citrix, HPE, IBM (HashiCorp), Splunk, and QueryPie. We also attended domestic events such as AWS Summit Seoul 2025 and global events to share partnership strategies and technology roadmaps.
AWS Summit Singapore 2025
In May, sales and consulting professionals responsible for AWS business attended AWS Summit Singapore 2025 in Singapore and participated in various programmes, including PAC and CAC sessions. They shared improvement strategies for domestic customers, such as Korean Marketplace policy directions, won payment, and VAT application, and exchanged feedback with global partners from a practical perspective to expand collaboration opportunities.
AWS re:Inforce 2025
In June, we attended AWS re:Inforce 2025, a global security-focused conference held in Philadelphia, USA. Under the theme of ‘Designing the Future of Security Together,’ the event featured various technical sessions on topics such as advanced strategies for key security services, AI-based anomaly detection, and threat intelligence integration.
At the exhibition hall, global solutions related to DevOps security, real-time detection, and ID management were introduced, allowing attendees to directly experience the latest security technology trends. In addition, partner-exclusive sessions covered topics such as AWS security incident response, PISAP framework, CPPO & Marketplace strategy, and provided a valuable opportunity to discuss the role and opportunities of partners within the AWS ecosystem.
Going forward, CloudNetworks will continue to build a culture where employees and the organisation grow together, centred on the three pillars of internal communication, talent development, and external collaboration.
