CloudNetworks announced on the 18th that it has formed a partnership with Kong, a global API and AI connectivity company, to supply Kong AI Gateway in Korea.
According to the company, Kong AI Gateway integrates and manages an enterprise's AI traffic through a single gateway.
The two companies agreed to cooperate in supporting domestic enterprises in building their AI operating systems, amid growing demand for control and governance of AI calls as the use of generative AI and LLMs spreads into actual business operations.
Kong is a global company that develops API and AI connectivity technology, and has provided an API management platform based on the open-source Kong Gateway. Recently, it has been expanding its management scope in the API management field to include LLM, MCP, and agent-to-agent (A2A) traffic, with Kong AI Gateway handling the AI traffic management portion.
Heung-gyun Jung, CEO of CloudNetworks, said, "As generative AI is applied to actual business operations, enterprises face a situation where they must consider not only model performance but also how to control and observe AI calls. Based on our experience building AI operating environments, CloudNetworks will supply Kong AI Gateway to support the AI governance systems of domestic enterprises."
