In November 2025, all CloudNetworks employees departed for Guam. Following last year's trip to Taipei, Taiwan, the company held an overseas workshop again this year, continuing its culture of growing and collaborating together.
What made this workshop special was its "balance." Considering work schedules, employees departed in two groups, but a day was arranged for all employees to gather in Guam and come together as one team. Beyond the official schedule, most of the time was left open, allowing each person to recharge in their own way.
Rest at a resort facing the blue ocean, adventures exploring various parts of Guam, a food tour in search of great restaurants, and time spent together laughing and talking. Here's a look back at the 3 nights, 4 days in Guam.
🌊 Dolphin Cruise - Wild Dolphins Encountered in the Western Pacific
Among the official programs for each group, the dolphin cruise was one of the most highly anticipated.
Early in the morning, everyone gathered at the pier and boarded a yacht to head out into the waters around Guam. Since dolphins aren't always easy to spot, snorkeling and fishing activities came first. Employees enjoyed snorkeling while watching colorful tropical fish up close, and also tried their hand at fishing with rods.

Group 1 tried using sausage as bait, but it kept falling off when cast, and in the end no one managed to catch a fish. Group 2, on the other hand, used fish bait and succeeded in catching fish with two people, getting so caught up in the unexpected fun that they forgot all about snack time. Group 1 hurriedly wrapped up snorkeling and fishing upon hearing that dolphins had appeared, and moved to the dolphin point. Several cruise boats had gathered there, and among them, a pod of dolphins was swimming. As the boat moved, the dolphins moved along with it, swimming around the area.

Group 2 experienced an even more special moment. Not only dolphins, but a sea turtle—a rare sight—appeared as well. Everyone raised their cameras at the sight of the turtle swimming leisurely, capturing a precious scene. By the time the cruise returned to the pier, they even witnessed a shark being fed.
Fresh tuna sashimi, sandwiches, and drinks were prepared aboard the cruise, and colleagues shared food and conversation out on the water. Laughing together over fishing failures and successes, and marveling at the sight of dolphins and a sea turtle, became vivid memories of this workshop.
🎉 Company-Wide Event - A Night Where Everyone Became One
On the evening when the two groups' schedules overlapped, 74 CloudNetworks employees who took part in this workshop gathered wearing matching group T-shirts at the Royal Ballroom on the 6th floor of the Dusit Thani Hotel.

The highlight of the day was the table arrangement. Rather than sitting with the teams they usually work with, employees sat at tables mixed with people from different teams and ranks, taking the time to get to know one another. Once the recreational activities began, the atmosphere heated up quickly, and through high-energy games where everyone laughed and cheered each other on, CloudNetworks' teamwork was once again on full display.

After the recreational activities, a group photo was taken, followed by a dinner at the hotel buffet where people chatted freely. Even after the official event ended, employees, reluctant to part ways, gathered in small groups in hotel rooms to keep the conversation going. Sharing snacks and drinks bought from convenience stores and duty-free shops, the conversations continued late into the night.
🏖️ Everyone's Own Guam - Freely and Colorfully
Most of the 3 nights and 4 days were left as free time. Allowing each employee to enjoy Guam in their own way was the core idea behind this workshop.
The Leisure of a "Hocance" (Hotel Vacation)

The Dusit Beach Resort is an oceanfront hotel with a pool and beach. Many employees chose not to leave the hotel at all, spending relaxed time at the pool or lying on the beach reading a book for true rest.
Into Nature
Teams who wanted to fully experience Guam's nature visited tourist spots such as Emerald Valley and Merizo Pier. Some teams took turns getting into the ocean, enjoying Guam with their whole bodies, while sharing videos and photos on the company messenger, recommending great photo spots to other employees.

Teams who joined the southern tour visited landmarks where they could feel the history and culture of Guam. There was also a stargazing tour, where employees admired a night sky filled with countless stars that couldn't be seen in the city. The conversations shared with colleagues while stargazing under Guam's dark night sky became a special memory.
Guam Activities
Employees who enjoy adventure took on various activities available in Guam.

The team that took part in outdoor live-fire shooting traveled to the shooting range by jeep, and due to rain the day before, the mountain road was full of puddles and rough terrain, making the trip to the range itself feel like an off-road tour. At the shooting range, they tried out four types of firearms, including pistols and rifles. The weight and recoil of real firearms, along with the thrill of hitting the target, offered a unique kind of fun, and there was no shortage of laughter as everyone compared their accuracy.

Another team took part in a light aircraft piloting experience. Sitting in the co-pilot's seat, they took the controls themselves and flew through the sky, taking in views of Guam's emerald-colored ocean, and experiencing sharp climbs and drops like a roller coaster—thrilling, but also a bit nauseating. The certificate they received after the flight became a special keepsake.

Employees who tried scuba diving headed to a special diving spot in Guam's waters. They took commemorative photos underwater and swam among colorful tropical fish and coral reef formations, experiencing a side of Guam completely different from what's seen above the surface. The team that enjoyed golf played a round on an ocean-view course overlooking the sea. Though everyone chose different activities, each person created a special experience only possible in Guam.
The Joy of Shopping
From The Plaza Shopping Center connected directly to the hotel, to T Galleria Duty Free across the street, to marts and outlets—employees thoroughly explored Guam's shopping spots, picking out gifts and enjoying the fun of filling their baskets with duty-free items.
🍽️ Exploring Guam's Restaurants - Mealtimes Together
Over the 3 nights and 4 days, the restaurant tour was an essential part of the schedule.
Employees enjoyed American-style casual dining at T.G.I. Friday's, visited as part of each group's official schedule, and during free time, everyone explored different places to eat on their own. They had seafood at Boiling Seafood, and at the hotel's beach restaurant, enjoyed tacos, pasta, and seafood dishes with an ocean view. They tried a wide variety of food, from steak, handmade burgers, and shrimp dishes to acai bowls, and Guam beer with snacks.

Honestly, Guam wasn't exactly a food destination, but the experience of each team going around searching for places to eat together was enjoyable in itself. Sharing reviews with comments like "How was this place?" and "We went here," experiences from Group 1 were passed along to Group 2 as well.
And meals didn't end with dinner. Employees bought Guam beer, Korean ramen, and local snacks and treats from convenience stores and brought them back to the hotel, where second and third rounds continued in various rooms. One team even ordered Domino's Pizza delivery and kept the conversation going until dawn. These moments enjoyed in each other's rooms actually became opportunities for even more comfortable and honest conversations.
🚀 Wrapping Up - Back to Everyday Life, and the Future We'll Build Through Balance
Though it was a short 3 nights and 4 days, the time in Guam left CloudNetworks with a great deal. Laughing together over fishing failures on the dolphin cruise, mingling with colleagues from other teams at the company-wide event, exploring Guam each in their own way, sharing reviews of activities and restaurants, and talking until dawn over pizza and beer in hotel rooms—every one of these moments brought us closer together.
Above all, this workshop was meaningful in how well it balanced "together" and "individually." During official events, everyone came together as one; during free time, everyone recharged in the way they wanted. This is precisely the organizational culture CloudNetworks strives for. We hope that the rest and inspiration gained in Guam will lead to new energy and innovation in the workplace. Thank you to everyone who worked hard to make this workshop a success.
"Your Success, Our Dream!"
CloudNetworks' meaningful journey continues.
