CloudNetworks (CEO Jeong Heung-gyun) announced that it has signed a domestic partnership with Cast AI, a U.S. application performance automation (APA) platform specialist company, and will supply its cloud cost and resource optimization platform to the domestic market.
Founded in 2019, Cast AI is a Kubernetes automation specialist company that solves the problem of surging cloud operating costs driven by accelerating AI adoption. Currently, more than 2,100 companies worldwide reduce their cloud operating costs through the Cast AI platform, and in January 2026 the company achieved unicorn status with a corporate valuation exceeding $1 billion.
Cast AI is an application performance automation platform centered on Kubernetes workload optimization that extends to GPU, LLM, and database optimization. Through a machine learning engine trained on thousands of clusters and real workload data, it performs autoscaling, automatic rightsizing, and spot instance automation, and unlike existing solutions that are limited to mere monitoring or recommendations, it autonomously analyzes and optimizes cloud resources without human intervention. It supports all major public clouds—AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud—as well as on-premises environments, enabling companies to simultaneously achieve cloud cost savings, improved application performance, and enhanced operational productivity. In addition, through its recently launched OMNI Compute, GPU resources can be unified across multiple clouds and regions without code changes, further strengthening the operational efficiency of AI workloads.
Through this partnership, CloudNetworks will roll out the supply of Cast AI to domestic enterprise customers with high demand for cloud cost and resource optimization. The company aims to provide a practical option for enterprises seeking to simultaneously achieve cloud cost savings and AI infrastructure operational efficiency, while also formally launching an integrated AI governance business that spans everything from AI security, observability, and certification to cloud resource and cost optimization.
